Jan-Ove Waldner is a Swedish table-tennis star, famous the world over. He’s known as the “Mozart of Ping Pong.” That’s right: Mozart. If anything, I might be referred to as the “Rob Schneider” of Ping Pong. Maybe that’s a stretch.
You inspired me to check the Youtubes for some J-OW videos, and I am now torn which tribute to the man moves me more. I was enthralled by the high-tech whizzbang of Stanley Choi’s “Tribute to Jan Ove Waldner (The legend)” but was truly touched by 7531GECA’s use of Rod Stewart’s “Forever Young” in his “Tribute to Jan Ove Waldner.”
