“Put This On” looks like a promising new Web series on, as host Jesse Thorn puts it, “how to dress like a grownup.” Good advice for those ready to move on from looking like they just rolled out of an American Apparel loft party. First episode is up here.
I’m typically a pretty freewheeling gent–some may even say gross–but only washing your jeans every three months even skeeves me out.
The host, Jesse Thorn, is also the host of the great podcast The Sound of Young America. Check out the interview they did with Robert Hicks, the director of Philly’s Mutter Museum.

Now I would have called that episode “The World’s Longest Awkward Moment.” And it breaks one of my top 8 rules of thumb: “Never take fashion advice from someone with a window unit air conditioner.”
