In the wake of Hurricane Sandy here on the east coast, it’s been refreshing to reminisce about sunnier days spent filming the admissions video for Miami University earlier this month. Our friends at Neighborhood Film Company and Vinegar Hill worked with us tirelessly to capture every Miami moment we could find. (90′s night at Brick Street! The HIVE! Horseback riding! Bagel & Deli! A Redhawks hockey game!) This was my first trip to Oxford, Ohio, and the beauty of the campus truly blew me away — I couldn’t make this up! See for yourself.
(Okay, I snuck this one in here. Unfortunately George Clooney is not in our video. But a fun fact: The opening scenes of “Ides of March” — starring George Clooney and Ryan Gosling — were filmed at Miami in 2011.)
Two film crews and five very full filming days later, we all returned home with the confidence that this video will be something wonderful. Can’t wait to share the final edit with you in the coming months!
