What we work on when we work on things outside of work.

We are an industrious bunch at 160over90. We work days, nights and weekends. We hand-letter, hand-stamp and hand-write, sometimes even legibly. And we don’t stop creating once we’ve left the building. A few of us even run our own publishing companies. (Ok, one of us. Can you imagine if we all ran publishing companies? That would be wacky. So many publishing companies.)Anyways, this is all to say designer Jenny Tondera has teamed up with her friend Charlie to start a small art book publisher called Parts & Labor Books. Their first book is called “The Land Can Handle It.” I have no idea what it is about, but check this out:

The reason I don’t know anything about it is because it was just released! In fact, there’s a book signing coming up on Thursday, and if you’re in the New York City area, drop by the ICP at 6pm to meet Jenny, and grab a free beer and pizza. The ICP stands for the International Center of Photography and not, as I previously suspected, Insane Clown Posse.
