Ultimate Pit Stop
Ahead of the start of the 2019 F1 season, we were set the brief of delivering a high impact stunt to communicate Sky Sports as the home of exclusive coverage for the year. Our solution? The ultimate pit stop. Rebranding a petrol station in High Wycombe for one day, we offered free petrol and car washes for punters in the queue. Hype and demand for the service were unprecedented with the town being brought to a standstill as cars queued for miles to get the pit stop treatment. Sky Sports Pundits including Martin Brundle and Natalie Pinkham acted as staff for the day, delivering a CTA at the pump for petrolheads to sign-up to Sky Sports F1. The petrol station acted as a content hotbed, with 12 influencers in attendance creating content for their respective channels.
